Where can you tutor with Ivy Education?
Ivy Education offers in-person tuition and online tuition to clients. The majority of our clients are seeking face-to-face tuition. However, interest in online tuition has been growing and this is something we would expect to continue.
- Online tuition – delivered globally.
- In-person tuition – our main service area is West and Central London. We have assignments occasionally in the surrounding areas but we would suggest that any Tutors looking to work for us be prepared to travel in the Service Area pictured below.

Teaching qualifications or experience at top schools, success preparing students for assessments, personability and excellent communication skills are particularly sought after by our clients.
Our assignments include:
- School Entrance tuition – English, Maths and Reasoning
- GCSE and A Level tuition – Sciences, English and Maths plus humanities and languages
- University tuition – Course or University specialists
- Specialist requests in subjects like TEFL/IELTS and FCA/Tax/Accounting exams
Tutor Development
We are keen to help our Tutors develop while they work with us. Ongoing opportunities include:

- We provide tutors with feedback from clients to emphasise great performance and give advice along the way.
- Advice around online tuition platforms.
- Template for creating a learning plan and tracking success.

Recruitment
We believe in giving our clients reassurance and are proud of the quality of our tutors.
All our tutors require:
- Enhanced DBS check – organised by Ivy Education, paid by Tutor
- Safeguarding policy – guidelines and policy for our Tutors’ and Clients’ reassurance
- Interview with our Head of Recruitment – this will includes delivering a mock tutorial and lesson plan to gauge teaching style
