We have many highly qualified and experienced Entrance Exam tutors, specialising in tutoring for 13+ Common Entrance exams. We cover all subjects including English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, French, German, Spanish, Latin, and Greek.
In June of Year 8, students might participate in 13+ exams for entry to schools in Year 9
Students will usually sit the ISEB 13+ Exams. These are written papers in a variety of compulsory subjects including Maths, English, and Science. Most schools hope that students will sit additional optional papers in Geography, History and a language.
Our 13+ tutors can cover every area of the 13+ syllabus to prepare students for these Common Entrance exams, whilst tailoring their approach to specific students. We work hard to match children with tutors who will be able to give specialised knowledge based on that child’s target schools.
Our tuition programmes will:

Such as Abingdon, Benenden, Bradfield, Brighton College, Canford, Charterhouse, Cheltenham Ladies’ College, Stowe, Eton, Alleyn’s, Dulwich College, Harrow, Radley College, St Edward’s Oxford, Marlborough College, and many more...
When should you start preparing for these exams?
As a general rule of thumb, students will start preparing for these exams approximately 12 to 18 months before exam dates. This seems like a long time, however, it is best to have tuition less intensively over a longer period of time. This will allow the student to work on gaps in their knowledge before graduating to exam focused work, honing their exam technique.
For an accurate lead time, we recommend taking one of our assessments to isolate strengths and weaknesses and benchmark your child against other students targeting the same schools.
