About Uppingham School
Uppingham School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for ages 13-18, located in Rutland, England.
Entry at 13+
Prospective pupils must sit a Pre-test in Year 7. Successful applicants must then either sit the Common Entrance Exam in Year 8, or Uppingham's entrance papers.
Entry at 14+
There are usually places available for entry into Year 10. Applicants must sit papers in Maths and English, as well have an interview with the deputy head and a meeting with a housemaster or housemistress.
Entry at 16+
All candidates must follow Uppingham's 'test and interview' process or take their Sixth Form Scholarship Examinations. Conditional offers will be made subject to the candidate receiving satisfactory grades at GCSEs or iGCSEs.
