About Oundle School
Oundle School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school in Northamptonshire, England, for ages 11-18.
Entry at 11+ & 12+
Prospective 11+ applicants must sit a Cognitive Abilities Test, as well as written entrance papers in Maths, English, and Science. This is also followed by an interview. Space permitting, a small number of boarding spaces are offered at 12+; prospective applicants must sit entrance examinations.
Entry at 13+ & 14+
13+ candidates must sit either the Common Entrance Examinations or Oundle's own entrance tests. A small number of 14+ boarding places are usually available each year through Oundle's own entry tests.
Entry at 16+
Candidates entering at 16+ must have a minimum of three subjects at Grade 6 and three subjects at Grade 7 at GCSE, or equivalent. Applicants must provide expected GCSE grades and a CV; shortlisted applicants will be invited to an assessment weekend at the school, which will include an interview and papers various subjects.
