About North London Collegiate School
North London Collegiate School is an independent day school for girls ages 4-18, located in Edgware, London.
Entry at 4+
Entry into Reception (4+) requires an informal assessment, comprised of two rounds. Girls send three years in the First school before moving to the Lower School in Year 3, aged 7.
Entry at 7+ & 11+
Entry into Year 3 (7+) requires an assessment process in two stages. The first stage involves preliminary written tests. Selected girls will be invited for the second stage which consists of a day at school. All girls entering into Year 7 (11+) are required to take an Entrance Exam consisting of written papers in English and Maths. Selected candidates are invited back for interviews.
Entry at 16+
Entrants at 16+ (Sixth Form) are invited for a day of entrance tests, based on the common core of the GCSE syllabuses. Short-listed pupils are called for interviews.
