Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls
The Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls is an independent boarding school in Monmouth, Wales for girls ages 7-18. It has close links with its brother school, Monmouth School.
Entry at 7+, 8+, 9+ & 10+
Pupils are most commonly admitted in Year 3, but other applications are considered subject to availability. All children will have an interview-style chat with the Head of Monmouth Prep School. There is also a short age-appropriate test in Maths and English.
Entry at 11+, 12+, 13+ & 14+
All 11+,12+, 13+ & 14+ applicants must sit an online assessment, as well as sit a creative writing paper. These are followed by interviews. 13+ applicants have the option of sitting the ISEB Common Pre-test instead of the online CEM assessment.
Entry at 16+
Entrance is based upon GCSE results and conditional offers will be made on the basis of predicted grades. Candidates are asked to undertake an interview and offers will be confirmed following final GCSE results.
