About Downe House School
Downe House School is an independent day and boarding school for girls, ages 11-18, located in Berkshire, South east England.
Entry at 11+ & 12+
After registration, prospective applicants are invited for assessment. Assessment Days include a variety of activities, such as an interview and an academic test. For 11+ candidates, places are conditional upon satisfactory results being achieved in the Common Entrance examinations.
Entry at 13+
Applicants can be assessed for 13+ early in Year 6. Pupils are asked to sit the ISEB Common Pre-Test. Successful applicants are invited to an Assessment Day at the school.
