Tanya Jamil

After completing her psychology studies at University in London, Tanya worked as an independent ABA tutor until joining the London Early Autism Project and being trained as a programme supervisor. Tanya went on to collaborate with a wide range of professionals to further build her toolkit to support children and young people, such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and play therapy.

As the founding headteacher of an independent, London, day SEN school, Tanya combined this experience to build a transdisciplinary team. Together, they supported students with a range of learning needs, allowing each child to succeed and thrive.

Since 2018 Tanya has worked in consultancy, working directly with families, children, young people and schools to create solutions for individual children, their needs, their strengths and their well-being. Working in this field since 1997 Tanya has built up positive relations with school leaders, educational professionals and therapists, as well as a broad knowledge of schools, their provision and which students they best cater for.
