Philippa

Philippa has a wealth of experience in education, as a teacher and senior leader, at boarding, prep, co-educational and single sex schools, in and out of London and latterly for the last 13 years as Head at Eaton House the Manor Pre-Prep and Bassett House School.

One aspect of her role as Head that she particularly enjoyed was working with parents and school admissions departments to find the best school for each child and she is keen to put her knowledge and experience in educational consultancy to good use through Ivy Education. She has kept in touch with many parents and children from Eaton House and Bassett House and always finds it gratifying to hear how children have flourished in the right educational environment which she has helped them to find.

Philippa is a consultant with the Independent Association of Preparatory Schools and has a wide network of Heads as colleagues and friends. She has also recently completed a Level 7 Executive Coaching and Mentoring Course with the Institute of Leadership and Management.

In her spare time, Philippa likes to spend time with her two grown up children, a bubbly young granddaughter and three lively chocolate Labradors.
