Katie

Katie carefully tailors each session to encourage students to build on their existing knowledge and present themselves naturally when discussing their favourite subjects and extracurricular activities. A key part of Katie’s approach is her focus on building confidence, ensuring students perform at their best in interviews.

She was educated at Godolphin School, Salisbury, St Edward’s School, Oxford, and at St John’s College, Oxford. Before becoming a coach, she worked as a television presenter for the BBC and Channel 4 on shows such as Tomorrow’s World, Countryfile, and Maths 4 Real.

She has written three puzzle books covering maths, English, and general knowledge to give children preparing for the 11+ a chance to take a break from screens.

Having guided her own children through the London Schools entrance process, Katie is well-versed in the system. Her son is currently in his A Level year at Westminster, and her daughter is studying history at Oxford.
