Emily was educated at Cheltenham Ladies’ College and the University of Bristol, before going on to complete teacher training through Teach First. She has more recently completed the Dukes Senior Leadership Programme with The University of Buckingham, as well as The National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) from UCL.
Having taught for over 18 years, Emily has experience in both the maintained and independent sector, at prep and secondary level. Most recently, she has been Deputy Head for several years at Eaton Square School, an independent co-ed nursery and prep school in central London. Through this experience, Emily has gained a clear understanding of the school application process. She has worked with many families at the start of their child’s educational journey when they join at nursery or prep level, as well as when they start to prepare for entry into their future schools. She has helped students to prepare for entrance into some of the top senior schools, working with their parents during this process and helping them select the best school for their child.
Acutely aware of the challenges faced by parents as they choose the right nursery, prep school or senior school for their child, Emily is prepared to offer support and guidance to help them make these significant choices. Emily is also available to assist the students in their preparation for their entrance exams and interviews, as well as mentoring students of all ages through the process.
